    I made the body look very different because I think it will be more exoteric for me to think about the feelings of people. I think the Soldier could be a dwarf because he needs to go to a great tree in the story. So I think that is why the Witch requested the Soldier to take the tinderbox for her, Maybe the reason why the soldier is so very small. The Princess is a beautiful woman. So I would like to make her looks very fetching. I thought about the 'S' shape for her body and the hair style, after all I think she could be a gentle person. The Witch is a very hideous person, and her lower lip hung down upon her breast. She is a hunchbacked woman because of this she will be like the witch in the story. Then I thought about the character silhouette of her, I would like to make her look like a curious oddity .

    I would like the Witch to be my final piece because I have never draw an ugly person before, so I would like to try to do something different. My thoughts about her face is to make her looks really ugly. I thought about her fat body and compared it with classical images of an old witch type woman, advanced in age, hunched and withered.

    After the face design I then think about the colours of her skin. I think they are all good for the Witch, so I think I could keep all scheme for player to decide skin for the Witch.

 

 

    These images are the dress design of the Witch. I found some ideas on Wiki to make sure my Witch looks like an authentic Georgian type woman.

    Next I concentrate on the details of the Witch. I think the detail could help me have a certitude of the appearance for players. I tried different hair styles to make more possibilities for her look.
 

    ——————CHARACTER SHEET——————   

 

    Here is the character sheet of the Witch. I chose 2 sets of clothing for her: One is for her to go into town incognitos. Because the Witch is an unpopular person she need to be very covert when she is in the town. The other dress is her normal dress, I made the dress look like a scarecrow because the crows surround the vicious Witch.
   Then I drew some sketches of the Witch because I would like to think more about her personality and make sure her character is colourfully grotesque. The tattered clothes to which I refer are from the Scarecrow to make her look like an unfriendly person. She is a very dis social person and is always in the company of crows. She doesn't cares about her dishevelled appearance.
    In order to create this kind of atmosphere, my creative inspiration of the Witch's hump is from ‘Coraline & the Secret Door’. Then I made the skin looks like a sick woman because she has had a long-time suffering oppression and an addiction to drugs. Her eyes are very bad and always congestive. I think her purple lips are probably from drinking many potions. The hunchback and the unique nose will increase the impression of terror.
 

——————FINAL PIECE——————  

 

      This is my final piece of the Witch. In this scene she is already on her way to town. She flies with 6 crows and another crows sits on her disguise. The soft witches hat is tilted back because of the wind. She sets out in the evening in order to ensure that she can reach the city and come back in darkness . The friendly crows give her companionship in her solitude . The patches in her old tatty dress means she is immersed in the magic so she has no time to take care of her personal life. Her Oak broom, firm and easy to find. Her pointed ears suggest obvious differences from normal people.
     Her tattered shawl and pointed hat is her normal dress and would make her stand out from normal people in the town. So She taking a parcel in this picture is a cloak for the Witch, to be used as her disguise. Because she is a witch, she can not make her looks conspicuous in town.
